Breast augmentation is the most common cosmetic surgery performed every year, is the quick recovery time. Breast enhancement only takes about an hour, and is done as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. It does not involve any overnight stays in the hospital, allowing you to rest and heal at home. Most women are able to return to work and normal activities within 3-5 days after surgery. Because of this fast turn-around, many women feel it works well to have their surgery on a Thursday or Friday, and return to work on Monday.
When you are in the planning stages, keep in mind how physical your job and your daily activities are. A good rule of thumb is not to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk, for the first week after your surgery. If you have small children in your home, or your work requires lifting and moving heavy objects, you may need to have more help during your recovery, or more scheduled time off work.
There is no one better to give breast augmentation advice, than someone who has been there already. Dr. Vitenas knows this and so he does his best to share the pictures, words, and wisdom of his former patients, with those new to the surgical process.
Check out Vitenas Cosmetic Surgery’s hundreds of before and after photos. No matter how large or small your body, you will be able to find a woman the same size as you, and see the results of her breast augmentation.
Look through our “Thank You” book, usually sitting on the coffee table in our waiting room. Vitenas Cosmetic Surgery patients are happy to share their surgical experiences, and we have collected their words in an album for everyone to see.
Vitenas Cosmetic Surgery collects ‘Patient Tips’, which can be read on our website. Read their ideas on how to prepare for your breast augmentation and what to really expect during your recovery.
